Change information about your company's workplaces

A workplace is a geographically defined address, property or group of nearby properties where the company conducts regular operations. When a company has operations at several addresses, these must be registered in Statistics Sweden's business register.

CfarNr is a unique 8-digit ID number that is automatically created by Statistics Sweden when a workplace is registered.

The company's own designation at the workplace, for example head office or chain affiliation.

The address where the mail is to be delivered to the workplace. If the company has only one workplace registered in Statistics Sweden's business register, Statistics Sweden receives the postal address from the Swedish Tax Agency. If the company has several workplaces registered in Statistics Sweden's business register, the postal address can be changed via Statistics Sweden's service here at verksamt.se.

The address where the workplace's operations are located.

If the company has only one workplace registered in Statistics Sweden's business register, Statistics Sweden receives the location address from the Swedish Tax Agency. At the Swedish Tax Agency, the word visiting address is used instead of location address. In cases where no visiting address is reported to the Tax Agency, the visiting address is equated with the postal address.

The main workplace is the workplace that represents the company. It can be where management and administration is carried out. If the company has only one workplace registered in Statistics Sweden's business register, it is the company's main workplace.

SNI stands for Swedish industry classification and describes the company's operations. Each industry has its own SNI code. A company can have one or more SNI codes, one SNI code must be larger than the others as the largest SNI code represents the company.

If the company has several workplaces registered in Statistics Sweden's business register, the SNI codes are distributed at the workplace level.

The telephone number that goes to the workplace. The direct number connected to an employee should not be entered in the first place, as the workplace telephone number will be publicly visible. Only Swedish phone numbers are registered.
