Finansinspektionen monitors the firms on the financial market. According to its assignment, Finansinspektionen shall contribute to a stable financial system that is characterised by a high level of confidence and well-functioning markets that meet the needs of households and firms for financial services while at the same time providing comprehensive protection for consumers. Finansinspektionen is also responsible for coordinating the supervision of financial undertakings' measures to combat money laundering and terrorism financing.
