Alarm installations

If you engage in the business of alarm system installation, you require a permit from the Swedish Police.

How to apply

The application should be sent by e-mail or mail to the police in the region in which the permit will apply.

The term “alarm system installation business” means a commercial business that installs, assembles, repairs or changes alarm systems.

An alarm system installation business may not be operated without a permit. There are separate rules that apply to security companies.

The Swedish Police determine the issuance of permits and also exercise supervision.
