Dissemination of aerial photography

About the permission

Permission from Lantmäteriet (The Swedish Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registration Authority) is required to disseminate aerial images and similar recordings taken from aircraft/drones or similar flying over Swedish land territory. Permission is granted if the dissemination can be deemed unlikely to harm the Swedish total defense. 

Some exceptions to the permit requirement regarding certain geographic areas can be found in Lantmäteriet\'s regulations on distribution permits for compilations of land geographic information (see link). 

Permission issuer and supervision

Lantmäteriet is the supervisory authority. 

Rules if you operate an UAS (drone)
