Electrical installation company

All companies performing electrical installation work on another party’s facility must register with the National Electrical Safety Board and have a self-audit scheme before they start work.

How to register

Register your company via the e-service on the National Electricity Safety Board.

How to register the company

Your company can be easily registered via an e-service on the National Electrical Safety Board’s website.

There must be an authorised electrician at all electrical installation companies, and the registration must specify who that person is. The authorised electrician must also give his or her consent to being registered together with the company. If the company is established in Sweden, the authorised electrician must have Swedish authorisation. If the company is performing electrical installation services in Sweden on a temporay basis, the authorised electrician must have access to the profession in the EEA or Switzerland.

The company’s self-audit scheme must be completed before registration takes place. The self-audit scheme does not, however, need to be submitted when registering your company.
