Marketing of forest reproductive material

Production and marketing of forest seed and plants within EU are regulated by the Council Directive 1999/105/EC on the marketing of forest reproductive material. This Directive is implemented in the Swedish Forestry Act (SFS 1979:429).

Production and marketing of forest seed and plants in Sweden is only allowed for companies notified to the Swedish Forest Agency.
