Contact points for critical raw materials and the Net-Zero Industry

In Sweden, six County Administrative Boards have been designated as contact points under the EU regulations on critical raw materials and the Net-Zero Industry.

Six County Administrative Boards in Sweden have been appointed as official contact points. Their role is to facilitate and coordinate the permit process for relevant projects.

The permit process includes all necessary authorisations required to build and operate a project involving critical raw materials, strategic raw material projects, net-zero technology manufacturing, or strategic net-zero initiatives.

Each County Administrative Board is responsible for a geographical area covering several counties. The designated contact point handles projects that are being carried out or planned within that area.
