Amounts and taxes for 2026
Every year, the Swedish Tax Agency updates its summary of amounts and percentages for businesses. The amounts and percentages for 2026 are now available, and they determine how you should calculate taxes, fees, and reimbursements in your business.

As a business owner, you may need to use these amounts in many common situations. For example, when you:
- pay salaries and need to calculate employer’s contributions
- reimburse car travel or pay per diem allowances
- record expenses for food, representation, or employee benefits
- want to know which employee gifts are tax‑free.
The summary also includes information on VAT and other thresholds that affect your company’s finances. Using the correct amounts from the start makes it easier to keep accurate accounts and reduces the risk of errors in your tax return.
All current amounts and percentages for 2026 are available on the Swedish Tax Agency’s website and can be used regardless of business form.
